Stacked Conversion

Stacking allows you to apply multiple converions to a single image. However, only one converion may be active at a time. This is an easy way to compare different conversion methods. Stacking only works with non-destructive conversion methods.
Steps in Photoshop (screen shots under construction):
  1. Create a new Layer Folder. Give it a descriptive name. For example "Conv CM" for channel mixer conversion.
  2. Convert using the channel mixer method.
  3. Move all the channel mixer method layers to the "Conv CM" folder. Keep the layers in the same order.
  4. Create another Layer Folder. Give it a different descriptive name. For example "Conv HS" for Hue/Saturation conversion.
  5. Convert using the Hue/Saturation layer method.
  6. Move all the hue/saturation method layers to the "Conv HS" folder. Keep the layers in the same order.
  7. Toggle on the "Conv CM" folder and toggle off the "Conv HS" to see the image converted using channel mixer.
  8. Toggle on the "Conv HS" folder and toggle off the "Conv CM" to see the image converted using Hue/Sat.
