Grain


Adding simulated film grain to give your photograph a gritty look.
  1. Select Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid color...
  2. Set the color to (128, 128, 128)

  3. Right click on the layer mask and select Delete Layer Mask

  4. Set Blend mode to Overlay

  5. Select Filter > Noise > Add noise...
  6. Set Distribution to Gaussian and check Monochrome. Set Amount.

  7. Adjust the opacity of the noise layer.
