Workflow Example 1


    Original photo, rotated, cropped and perspective correction applied:

  1. Select Image > Mode > Lab Color
  2. Select the Lightness Channel
  3. Select Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen
  4. Set sharpening parameters to 160% and 2.5 pixels.
  5. Select Image > Mode > Grayscale to remove the A and B channels.
  6. Select Image > Mode > RGB Color to convert to RGB.

  7. Add a curves layer
  8. Click Load... button on Curves dialog box and select "warm midtones" action

  9. Select curves layer and reduce highlights
  10. Add Levels layer
